Tou-Ché

 Johannah Jolson

At the age of six, Johannah started teaching herself to play the piano and her innate love of music led her to embark on a career in the performing arts.  She began full-time training in Musical Theatre at The BRIT School for Performing Arts at the age of sixteen.  During this time, her exceptional singing voice won her the prestigious title of Pepsi Cola Young Entertainer of the Year, 2003.  Johannah’s training has led her to perform at, among other venues, the Queen Elizabeth Hall on London’s Southbank, and on more than one occasion at the Royal Albert Hall.   TV credits include Grange Hill and Sort It for the BBC, and she has also appeared in short films and music videos.  Prior to launching Tou-Ché, she could be seen performing her solo cabaret act on the Isle of Wight, as well as performing in musical production shows.  She is proud to have been Female Vocalist at Nodes Point Holiday Park, where she also gained an excellent reputation as a DJ.  In her spare time, Johannah is a devoted singing teacher to the children and young people of Stagecoach (Dorking), and private students of all ages and abilities.  She has recently finished playing 'Conchita' in Barry Manilow's smash-hit musical Copacabana and is looking forward to appearing as 'Belle' in Blackeyed Theatre's actor-musician adaptation of A Christmas Carol this December.
